In response to Alexander McQueen I sprayed some whit material with red spray paint on a mannequin. I styled the material to it was like a dress and I will present the fabric on my final boards as evidence of my research towards the final piece. Images of the garment being worn by a model or in my sketchbook.

Toile for final piece
I have made the toile for my final piece and I am making a skirt in a typical cheerleading style so I have still made links to my orignal intrest of America. I made 8 panels for my skirt, however when i finished i realised that it was to large and have decieded to remove one panel and gather the skirt into the elastic at the top of the skirt. I am going to add techniques on top of the skirt since I am including materials like chicken wire which will be diffucult to sew. I think i will use the glue gun the add techniques and then the panels which I can sew onto the skirt. In my sketch book I have taken photos of the toile and worked on top of them to show techniques I am going to use.

Adding depth ?
I have looked over my sketch book again and I made clear a clear link, however I have never made clear why I am doing it. So i have went through my sketch book and made a list of why I have done things like fur, certian artists and protest. So to back up these points I am going to
- The first people to protest
- On my Human Rights page look at how people are treat?
- Look at the designer Stella McCartney since she is very anit-fur
- Add primary images of the student protest about the univerity fees
- Have a photoshoot at my work Broom House Farm with my protest boards, possibly with the farm animals?
- Have a page looking at why people protest. Look at Lady Gaga and her meat dress which was designed by FRANC FERNANDEZ.
- Another designer that I could look at to link to my 'blood' splattered page, Alexander McQueen and his spray paint dress.
- Look at animals which most fur garments are made out of, fox & rabbit.
- Eastern europe and the women that the wear fur and why? is it a nessecity?
- Also adding more fabric samples into my work and more illustrations.

I have deiced for my final piece that I want to create a skirt that involves fur. I have added various initial illustrations and samples to show the kind of skirt i would like to create. I have also made 9 A3 size samples with various techniques which i will use in my skirt. I am planning to have a skirt with different panels so there will be a range of techniques.

Dennis Basso
My final designer who I would like to use in my final piece is Dennis Basso. He is a American Designer who used fur to create his pices. He has many designs and i am particullary attracted to his skirts which I may involve in my final piece.
Back To Shepard Fairey
I have added more pages to my sketch book. I have added in another Artist who I was originally going to use before I changed my mind on the Direction of my sketch book. It is Shepard Fairey and I have included him because his Obama art has messages like 'Help' and 'Progress'. I have tried to link this to protest and have primary images to link also.
